Girls On The Run 5k

This was the grand finale of 10 weeks of training, a fun run with food and music. It was very cold and windy on the beach even though it was nearly 70 in town. All the girls from all the NE Florida clubs were there with family members and pen pals. Approximately 500 runners took off down Little Talbot Island into a nearly 30mph headwind, with all happy they finished before the rains came. No times were posted but it was obvious the Jack Russell girls were the top club with Bianca finishing 3rd overall and Marli, Sarah, Kathlene, Aubrey, Phoebe and Megan finishing near the front.
